Automatically lower volume in loud movie scenes with VLC Media Player
Ever get annoyed while you’re watching a video because the volume maxes out for an action scene then drops to a whisper while people are talking? Tired of turning the volume up and down during movies? VLC Media Player can automatically adjust the sound to a lower volume then return it to normal when the loud action passes. This is called “normalization”. Check out the video and see how easy it is to get rid of this annoyance!

Thx, totally didn’t realize vlc had this built in.
What skin are you using here? Most of the built in skins in vlc tend to be buggy or missing features I want, but this one looks great.

Hi Jon, in this video VLC isn’t using any skin, it looks like that from the windows theme, which is Dark Pearl 2.0 If you’re not familiar with skinning windows, you have to patch it to allow the use of third party themes. A simple to use program I always recommend is Universal Theme Patcher. I hope this helps you out. Please feel free to ask more questions if you’re uncertain about anything. Thanks for stopping by!
